Rubber washers are a flat disk with a hole in the middle that is used as a way to distribute a load, spacers, wear pads, method of locking a seal, or reduce vibrations. Some of the most common compounds include silicone, fluorosilicate, Viton (fluoroelastomer), neoprene, nitrile (Buna-N), Hypalon, EPDM, SBR (red rubber), FDA white nitrile, polyurethane and natural rubber.

Rubber O-rings are round ring-shaped rubber seals used to prevent leaks of lubricants, liquids, and substances from mechanical devices. Nitrile rubber—also known as Buna-N or NBR—is the most commonly used elastomeric material for gaskets and seals also silicone.

Rubber grommets are more commonly used to protect or cover holes and to protect cables or wires from sharp corners or edges. Rubber grommets are also important parts in automotive applications.
Rubber grommets can be made in various rubber compounds including, silicone, Buna-N, Viton® Neoprene and EPDM.

Vibration mounts often made of rubber and steel and prevent excessive vibration. It is also called stud mounts. vibration mount can reduce installation time and prevent noise. Rubber used are IIR and blend of NR and BR.

Rubber bushes are a type of anti vibration bush that generally consist of cylindrical inner and outer metals, fully bonded with rubber in between. Rubber bushes can be produced in a wide range of metal types (mild steel, stainless steel and (aluminum) together with a suitable rubber compound for the application. Natural rubber (polyisoprene) of different grades and alternative elastomers are used to make these bushes.
